1.- Where is my data stored?
Your data and information, just as your applications, work on a remote server, equipped with the highest measures of security and hosted in a secure Data Centre.
2.- What servers do you use?
Leading brand servers with powerful processor and hard disk, enough to guarantee high service availability.
3.- Who can access my data?
Only you, no-one else can access your data, not even to see them. You have the same privacy or even more than when your data is hosted on your PC. Ofiwex gives you a login name and code that only you know and acts as a “key” to access your data.
The system is similar to the email accounts on the internet, or to the cash machines.
4.- What guarantees does your security system offer?
Ofiwex comes with the latest and most comprehensive perimeter security systems, firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spam, web contents control; we use similar security systems to those used by financial institutions.
5.- Who makes sure to do backups of my data?
Ofiwex does incremental data backup daily, which means every day we save the changes you have made with respect to your data from the previous day. In addition, we do a full backup monthly.

Effectively, Ofiwex offers you a content control service so that your employees can only access those Internet pages that you authorise. In this way, you get two benefits: increase in the productivity of your employees; and more importantly, it prevents them from compromising your systems since they cannot download applications nor programs that destabilise .
8.- What happens if the server goes down?
The system and the Ofiwex platform architecture have been designed in cluster (all the servers are duplicated), so that even if a server goes down, its mirror would automatically take over operation, without you noticing anything. Likewise, we have replacement servers, so that in the unlikely event an incident occurred, it would be possible to repair or replace the server immediately.
9.- What happens if a power source fails?
The Ofiwex platform has all contingent sources of energy, so that the supply of energy is always guaranteed and therefore the service.
10.- How do you know if the system works?
At Ofiwex, we have a monitoring service 24/7, where we continuously control the level of service by sending signals to servers. If there is an incident, the alarms are triggered automatically with what we can do even before you have noticed anything.
11.- How long does it take to act if there is an incident?
It’s immediate. We have different intervention systems:
* When it is a login session incident, we remotely connect to the very session, prior login authorisation, thereby resolving the incident straight away. With this method, we are able to resolve 99% of the incidents, reducing the response time and downtime of our clients.
* When it is a system incident, by having immediate warning systems we are able to act immediately to restore the situation.
12.- What happens if there is an Internet crash?
It’s very difficult for this to occur nowadays; in fact, the Ofiwex ADSL lines are continuously managed, which assures you complete availability of the service. Besides, if you want, you can keep another ADSL line with your current provider as a backup, so that in the unlikely event that a line should suffer an incident, the other line would start to work automatically.
13.- If I have a concern, what support does Ofiwex give me?
If you have registered for the Premium PC Remoto service, the service is the fastest and most complete on the market, since with just one phone call to our technical attention centre (CAT), we will resolve any type of incident immediately and online.
14.- If I am travelling, how do I access my information?
Ofiwex provides you the remote and secure connection service with the same information as from your desktop, just as if you were at your workstation, you only need an Internet connection and to have Terminal Services; if you are travelling and the computer from which you connect doesn’t provide Terminal Services, you can log on to our Web www.ofiwex.com via the client reserved area.
15.- How can my company network access the head office information?
Ofiwex gives you service so that any employee of your company and from any location can access your company’s information that you want, you only need to proceed according to the explanation from point 14 previously.
16.- If I wish to open an office in another city, will you give me service?
Of course, Ofiwex is the fastest means to put in place any workstation, including in another city, since with just having an Internet connection, you will have automatic access to all of your data defined by you.
17.- What security measures do you apply so that no-one else accesses my information?
Ofiwex applies the same security measures as a financial institution that guarantees only you can access your bank account through the Internet. There are a series of authentications that enable you as the only Login that can access your information.
18.- How do I manage the access of each Login account?
It’s you, the client, who always defines the user profiles and access to every login account; once defined, thanks to the Ofiwex centralised management, we implement it immediately.
19.- What do I have to do if I would like to incorporate another Workstation?
You let us know by email or on 902 88 99 89 and it is modified straight away.
20.- What do I have to do if I would like to incorporate a new application?
You should tell us what new application you want to install and Ofiwex takes care of everything, without you having to worry about anything else. Once the appropriate checks are done, the installation becomes immediate and all of the logins at the same time.
21.- .- I would like to get Office licences, but the cost a lot of money
Ofiwex has reached at an agreement with Microsoft so that all of those companies and professionals that would like it, can count on Office for a small monthly amount, with the benefit that if you disconnect from a login, you automatically stop paying for it. You only pay a small amount a month for the time you were connected for each login.
22.- There are times when I cannot recieve large files o downloading them takes a long time
The Ofiwex platform provides a bandwidth that allows you to download very large files to your server in much less time than you were used to, since now you don’t depend on the bandwidth of your office, rather on the bandwidth of the Data Centre, where the server is located.
23.- To work remotely, will I need a large bandwidth?
The complete opposite, Ofiwex is now the one that provides that large bandwidth and puts it at your service. From your office, you only need a standard ADSL connection since the data now doesn’t “travel” from the server to your computer; you only see them and only the keyboard commands “travel”.
24.- I am going to setup new workstations, but the investment is high, do you have competitive PC prices?
Ofiwex offers you a novel rental service, so that you do not have to invest and you can enjoy the necessary work machines for just 8 €/month and with the added benefit that you will be able to account for it as an expense rather than as tied up asset.
